Learn Hungarian - Greetings

Sziasztok! Learn to greet people in Hungarian. How do we say 'Good Morning!', 'Good Afternoon!' and 'Good Evening!'. Learn Hungarian together with 7 years old Hédi

Hedi uses her drawings to illustrate the various ways to greet someone in Hungarian. She explains the Hungarian alphabets 's' and 'sz', its differences in pronunciation, and the proper way to say 'Hello'.

  • szia hi, hello see-ah For one person
  • sziasztok hi, hello, bye see-ah-stok For two or several people.
  • jó napot hello, good day yo na-pot
  • jó reggelt good morning yo reh-gelt
  • jó estét good evening yo esh-tet
  • jó éjszakát good night yo eh-sa-kat

This method takes 5-6 hours of preparation and shooting, but it is fun-filled quality time together at zero cost.

P.S. We would like to Thank Olesja & Abdul (Mia's parents) for selecting the useful sets of color markers and also these watercolor pencils set (as her 7th Birthday presents).

We're curious how did your child learn his/her 'father tongue'? (or mother tongue language if it is different from English). Please share with us your ideas in the comment box below...
